Meet Jeff, a seasoned music teacher with a rhythm in his soul and a passion for sharing the magic of music. With 16 years of teaching experience, Jeff has honed his skills in guiding students through the world of rhythm reading, diverse drum beat styles, music memorization, and musicianship.
Jeff's musical journey began under the mentorship of Tony Ferderber, and he has since become a master of the drums. In addition to drums, Jeff enjoys playing the piano. His drumming style is influenced by a variety of artists, including Dave Weckl, Steve Gadd, Carter Beauford, Vinnie Colaiuta, Joe Morello, Todd Sucherman, Keith Carlock, and Aaron Gillespie.
Jeff's musical taste is as diverse as his influences, spanning genres such as metal, jazz, funk, R&B, blues, and worship music. His favorite bands include Underøath, Paramore, Spirit Box, Sleep Token, Chick Corea, Elevation Worship, and Hillsong Worship.
When Jeff is not teaching or playing an instrument, you can find him immersed in his comic book and action figure collection, leveling up in video games, delving into history, cheering on his favorite sports team (the San Fransisco 49ers), or savoring a plate of delicious Italian food!
