Online Lesson FAQ's

How do online lessons work and where are they located?
Online lessons are given through Skype, Zoom or Google Due (all available on the iPhone & Android App Stores and free to download and to sign-up) or FaceTime (iPhone only). 

Online lessons are offered as an alternative to lessons in your home to those who do not live within a 15 mile radius of Warren, OH. Online lessons require no traveling for either party and is a convenient and affordable way to take lessons in your home from a professional teacher. 
How much are online lessons and how long are they?
Online lessons are $40 for a four week-month and $50 for a five-week month. Online lessons are 30-minutes long, every week. You may pay via PayPal, check or cash.
What instruments are available to learn?
Guitar, piano, bass, ukulele, banjo and mandolin lessons are available through the online lesson platform. 
What days/times are available for Online lessons?
LIMITED SPOTS LEFT! Online lessons are available Monday's at 3:30 and Wednesday's at 3:30.
Who is my teacher and what are her qualifications?
Adreanne Foos has been playing music since 2003. She studied guitar, bass guitar, voice, banjo, and harmonica with Dale Galgozy at Woodsy's Music in Kent, OH for four years. While studying with Dale, she studied and mastered various guitar & bass styles including rock, folk and blues. Adreanne studied classical guitar with Dr. Francois Fowler from Dana School of Music and she also studied piano with Mr. Spencer Reed from Dana School of Music. Adreanne graduated from Kent State University with an Associate of Arts degree in 2016. While at Kent State, Adreanne took many music history courses and participated in choir as an alto singer her first year of college. In addition to studying at Kent State, she studied for one semester at Dana School of Music, taking various music & music theory courses. 

In 2010, Adreanne began volunteering her time teaching guitar at a Boys & Girls Club in Ravenna, OH at a summer youth program for underprivileged children. In 2011, Adreanne began teaching at a music shop in Warren, OH, and taught various instruments including guitar, bass guitar, piano, ukulele, banjo mandolin and beginner voice.

​In the fall of 2017, Adreanne began teaching independently and traveling to homes for a convenient and affordable way for student's to experience music lessons. 
what is the cancellation/makeup lesson policy?​
Lessons must be cancelled 24-hours before your regular lesson. If an illness or emergency arises the day of the lesson, please contact Adreanne via text message 1-hour before the lesson. Makeup lessons are offered in both of these instances. If you fail to show up to your lesson and do not notify your teacher, no makeup lessons are granted.
What books & Materials are required for online lessons?
Each instrument requires a different set of books. Upon your completion of the "Sign Up" form below, your required materials will be emailed to you based on your instrument of choice. 
What holidays Will i have off from lessons?

Can i terminate lessons at any time?
You are not bound to a contract, nor do you have to sign a contract to take lessons. You are free to terminate lessons at any time, but please be aware there is no money back guarantee once you pay for lessons at the beginning of the month. We strongly encourage you to finish out the month in which you paid for before terminating lessons.
Will there be any student recitals? are they mandatory?
In the instance an online student would like to participate in recitals, and they cannot make the performance due to the amount of traveling, they will have a chance! Please film your child performing his/her song and send it to their teacher. The video will be displayed at the recital. Two recitals are offered each year; a spring recital and a Christmas recital. Recitals are not mandatory, but highly encouraged.
